Photos and access
Hi. My name is Grim. I'm an administrator on the "Goblins, Brownies & Friends" Website. I'm also a registered user on the "Mythical Creatures Guide website.
I noticed that on both My own site and on the Mythical creatures site, photos will not load properly. This includes avatar pics, and the like. And on my site ("Goblins, Brownies & Friends") Some members are having trouble accessing the site.
I didn't know if this was just a glitch, or if all of Wiki is experiencing this problem.
The ad site doesn't seem to be up to date?
I'd like to add a site to it but I see that threads that have been left months ago have been left unreplied to...

I am trying to install a visitor tracker on my wiki. Any ideas on how I can get one to work, or for a visitor tracker service that will work with this wiki? My wiki is at http://globalfoodandculture.wikifoundry.com/
Thank you in advance for your help!
I have tried two - they give me a code to embed, but when I embed it I get the following message:
"This appears to be an invalid widget. We support widgets that contain either an Embed tag for Flash content or that are contained within an IFRAME. Please check the code and try again."
Here is one of the embed codes I tried. The other was from Feedjit.com
var pcheck=(window.location.protocol == "https:") ? "https://sniff.visistat.com/live.js":"http://stats.visistat.com/live.js";

inserting search engines and check boxes
wanna incorporate something like the message system from mythical creatures. and then further incorporate a password bypass. this is so that randoms cant use other peoples accounts. they'd need to have that persons password.
1. Also, how can i insert checkboxes or create a "fill-out form"?
When I try uploading a header image to my site, the loading bar just keeps loading and loading and it will not upload. I've tried both Firefox and Chrome and neither will work.
Thanks for any help

Obese Images - Centering Issues
Alright, so I'm having a huge difficulty editing my wiki due to the added pixels on the sides of images (what I like to call obese images due to their extra, "fatty" pixels) which make creating a layout that has images within tables a chore. They don't fit properly into otherwise complete and finalized tables, and they cause the background table color to show on the sides of the image where it doesn't at the top. All around it's not aesthetically pleasing, makes fitting images into tables difficult, and is just plain bothersome.
Is there some reason for this, or even a workaround?
I've checked around WikiFoundry Central for solutions to the centering issue, but none of them work for me. Usually the centering issue happens solely on tables with only one cell, but now it's encroached onto my multi-cell tables and is become a hassle to try to center words, images, and even other tables within tables.
I've tried the method where one creates a blank line, centers the one below and types their words and inserts their tables/images on that one, saves, then deletes the blank line and saves that. It only worked on a portion of my table.

import and export wiki
I am looking for a free wiki hosting service allows me to import and export the wiki as text files? I don't want my wiki to become trapped in a website I may not use later. I also want to be able to transfer a complete wiki (as text files) into a new service if desired. I keep my own personal wiki on my local computer as a folder of text files. I can search these text files and also designate links to other text files by putting brackets around words (they are not clickable of course). I would like to be able to import these text files into some wiki hosting service so that each text file becomes a page in the wiki and the links (words with brackets) are clickable and functionable. Does your wiki hosting service provide this functionality? If not, do you know of one that does?
Even better, it would be great if there is some wiki hosting service that allows the wiki to be synced with your local drive. However, this might be asking for too much right now and is not necessary for my purposes.
Thanks for any help and information you have to offer me!

Cannot log on to my site when I sign in.
It says an error occured processing this info if you think you have a bug please let us know. I do not think I have a bug or any other problem at least one detected by my Security service. I have had no problem logging into the site recently and have logged in several times since it became a Wiki.foundry site. I have had the site for many years.

Bug/Apache Tomcat messages are back
Hi. For those of you that have the bug error message, along with the apache tomcat "Connection refused" message getting revenge on you, don't worry. I've just alerted Travis about this.
In a few hours, he will have this fixed.
Thanks for taking the time to read this thread, just in case you have to post one about this issue.

Writer Request glitch
Whenever someone sends in a writers request, sometimes it won't immediately load and say it was confirmed, so the user will keep clicking submit until it finally loads. A user yesterday submitted 12 WR within the span of 3 minutes..
That's the biggest rack up of WR's due to this.. "lag" that's I've seen, other times it can range from 2-4 duplicates. All of them have the same text in them also.

Gif Header/Banner Image
I've been having some trouble uploading a banner to my site that contains a GIF image animation, like this one: http://25.media.tumblr.com/bd051c95b47fc372f972a2a8947fbfcf/tumblr_mh154pf5rY1rstu7zo1_500.gif
or this one: http://s272.photobucket.com/user/Quaswana/media/oie_z0VHgWIQe5lP_zps55d0f992.gif.html
I am using Pixlr and Free Online Image Editor to make the images and saving them as gifs. When I upload them to photobucket or to my computer, they work perfectly fine, but when I upload them as header images my site, it says "error" or the banner doesn't animate and is frozen.
I'm unsure if there are any dimension limits or file size limits to make the images animate while on the site. Help is much appreciated!
